Arrival in Cracow. For many years, the city was the seat of Polish kings and is still considered Poland’s cultural and artistic capital.
During the city sightseeing tour of Cracow you will see the historic buildings in the Old Town, registered on the UNESCO List of World Cultural Heritage. Very famous is Europe’s largest medieval Market Square with the Cloth Halls as well as St Mary’s Church with its Gothic pentaptych altarpiece carved in limewood. In the afternoon, optional visit to the Royal Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill or guided walk through the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz.
Free time or optional excursion to the Tatra Mountains including Zakopane, Poland’s most popular centre of winter sports and drive back through the Pieniny National Park including raft trip on the Dunajec River or visit the famous UNESCO salt mine in Wieliczka with its beautiful St Kinga’s Chapel at the depth of 101 m.
